This had to be the hardest day for my sister Christel & I and my mom. My mother was laying in Lehigh Valley Hospital fighting for her life and we get a phone call that poor Terry went into cardiac arrest and died. It was the hardest thing for us to try to figure out how to tell my mom the news when she is laying there struggling to stay alive herself. We had no choice. It was either us tell her or the police were going to tell her. We thought it would be better coming from us.
RIP Terry Lee Weikel. As you well know, mom did not take the news well at all. None of us did.

Religious funeral services were held today at the home of Gary & Louise Deeter. Officiating was Rev. John Wallace of Simpson United Methodist Church of Gordon, PA. Funeral Arrangements were by Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home in Ashland.
This was a very hard day for everybody. My mom was still in the hospital and was unable to attend his services but she did write a beautiful letter for him that I read. It was a tear jerker.
Terry was cremated and his ashes are in the possession of my mother, Debra Confair.
Thank you to everybody that came out to pay your respects to Terry. He was a great guy. Thank you to Gary & Louise for hosting the get together. You did a wonderful job.

Terry Lee Weikel was born on June 5, 1963 and passed away on August 6, 2009. He was residing in Tremont with his companion Debra Confair. He was loved by the family, especially the grandchildren. He considered the grandchilcren his own. They loved him so much that they called him "papa Terry". There is Ryan, Emma, Kaitlin, Alexis & Madyson. Terry was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the newcomer Seth. Unfortunately, papa Terry never got to meet Seth because he passed away before Seth was born.
Terry, you are loved by all in this family and are greatly missed. There is not a day that goes by that my mom does not think about you, talk about you or cry for you. You left a hole in her heart that can never be filled.
You will NEVER be forgotten. ~Tiffany
